Mission Statement:"Provided the fact that the students are living in an international society, as part of their identity, we hope to instill in the student’s intelligence and moral characteristics, so that both the heart and the body would be healthy, and in harmony. By doing so we hope to guide them to a person with a rich personality"

History: In 1969, we opened our doors to serve a community of Japanese immigrants whose parents work brought them to America. Our goal was to create a learning environment similar to that in Japan. At that time we borrowed meeting rooms and such for our classrooms. In the beginning we only had 68 students, but over the years the student body has grown significantly. Now we have approximately 2000 students enrolled. We have grown t o become the largest Japanese review school in the world and the ideas which we were founded on are still guiding us in providing the best education possible.

Description of School: We have four different campuses located at different high schools around Southern California. Classes are held on Saturdays at Santa Monica High School, San Gabriel High School, Torrance High School, and Orange High School. Including our principal we have 7 faculty members and administrators sent from the Japanese government to teach at various levels in the subjects of Japanese, math, social science and science.
