| History:
Oxnard Buddhist Temple Japanese Language School was established
to teach the Japanese language to the children of Buddhist Temple
members. In the beginning, all the students were members of
a Buddhist Temple. Over the years the number of students who
are members of the church has decreased. There are no religious
restrictions to enroll in the school. Currently we have students
of many backgrounds and encourage anyone interested in learning
the Japanese language to join us. |

| Description
of School: During the
months of September through June we offer classes at five different
levels (Nyumon I, Nyumon II, Elementary, Intermediate/Advance,
Adult). School hours are from 8:30 - 12:30. We organize seasonal
cultural events to expose students to not only the Japanese
language but the culture as well. |
